Koopa Monster Dildo

Koopa is a monster dildo cast in platinum-cured silicone, soft enough that the round bumps packed along it flatten under a thumb. Three sizes: an S at 21.5 cm (8.5 in) total length, up to an L at 32 cm (12.6 in) that weighs 1517 g (3.3 lb). It looks like it should hurt. It does not.

The shape started from a turtle: the pointed crest of the head, the raised round bumps a turtle carries on its skin, the belt that splits the shaft into an upper and a lower half. We kept that outline and pulled the hardness out of it. In hand it reads as armor. Against you it reads as something else, and that gap is the point.

A pointed crest, narrow at the tip and creased down the face, the thinnest part of the piece. It leads the way in: no lip to push past, no pop, just a taper widening into the first bumps. On the way out it is the last thing to leave, and what it does there is harder to put into words. The crest is not the event here. The shaft is.

Round bumps of mixed sizes cover the shaft from the crest down, big ones with smaller ones packed between, so nothing you feel arrives at an even spacing. Under a thumb they flatten like the grip bumps on a silicone oven mitt, and inside they do the same: each one presses, gives, and lets the next one through. Halfway down, the belt ring pulls the shaft in, your body closes on it, and then the lower bumps, the largest of the set, stretch you a second time. Slow strokes make the bumps louder. Fast ones blur them. We think the belt is the part people come back for.

Three balls of different sizes sit where the shaft ends, and under them a heart-shaped suction cup, hollow inside. The balls are the stop: reach them and you are hilted, and on the M and L they add a fill you notice after the last bump has passed. The cup holds on tile or a smooth chair seat and lets go with a fingernail under the edge. Weigh that against the size you pick: the L is a two-hand piece, and a heavy one.
