Nexus Node Alien Monster Dildo

Nexus Node is a monster dildo cast in platinum-cured silicone, from an XS at 16.3 cm (6.4 in) to an XL at 31.5 cm (12.4 in) that weighs 1657 g (3.7 lb). The head is smooth and round; behind it the whole shaft is covered in small bumps set in a spiral. In hand it feels like dried peas under a thin cloth. Inside, the bumps are too small to pass one at a time. What you get is one long, fine drag, head to base.

The pattern comes from the bump arrays on sea urchin and mollusc skins, not from any one animal. We kept the bumps small and the head plain, so the drag starts once you are inside. Twist as you push and the spiral changes what you feel. Simple shape. Not a simple feeling.

Round, plain, and narrower than anything behind it. On the XS it is 9 cm (3.5 in) around, so the first inch asks very little of you. That is deliberate: the head is the warm up, and the bumps start once you are already inside. If you have taken a plain toy near this size before, the head will not be the part you remember.

Small round bumps, packed close and set in a spiral, from just behind the head to the balls. Each one is too small to feel on its own. Together they read as a continuous drag, and each stroke pulls the whole length of it across you, one direction going in and the other coming out. Twist a quarter turn as you push and the spiral shifts the angle of contact. Then there is the raised line down one side. Turn it to face the front wall and you get a firmer press over the drag. Slow strokes make the bumps louder. Fast ones blur them. We prefer slow.

Sculpted balls with a suction cup built into the underside. Stick it to a smooth floor or a chair seat, lower yourself onto it, and your weight does the work: the bumps stay in contact as long as you stay seated, and the deeper you sit the more you fill. From M up the base is also where you hold it, and on the XL you will notice the 1657 g (3.7 lb) before you notice anything else. It is heavy. That is part of it.
